Working principle of Auto Leveling Laser Level

The working principle of auto leveling laser level is mainly based on its internal automatic balancing system, namely compensator. The compensator uses the principle of gravity to keep the instrument horizontal by automatically correcting the tilt inside the level. Its working steps are as follows:

1. Compensator structure: The auto leveling laser level is equipped with a compensator inside, which is usually a built-in liquid or gas device, combined with a gravity sensing device such as a float or plumb bob. Compensators can be of different types such as hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical.

2. Tilt sensing: When the laser level is placed, if the axis of the instrument is tilted, the compensator will feel the effect of gravity, and the flow of liquid or gas will cause the sensing element in the compensator to shift.

3. Automatic adjustment: According to the sensed tilt angle, the compensator will adjust through the internal adjustment device (such as the flow of liquid or the compression of gas) to restore the optical system of the instrument to a horizontal state. This adjustment process is automatic and does not require human intervention.

4. Horizontal sight: When the compensator completes the automatic adjustment, the optical system of the laser level will return to the horizontal position, so that the observed horizontal mark or horizontal reading remains accurate.

In general, the auto leveling laser level uses the internal automatic compensation system to use the effect of gravity to adjust and maintain the horizontal state in real time, thereby ensuring the accuracy and stability of the measurement.
